I've always taken my Wrangler to a general garage because it's convenient, but I keep wondering whether a specialist would actually be better given how specific some of the issues are on these vehicles. The last couple of jobs felt like they were learning on my car rather than knowing it. Someone told me to

to see what a proper Jeep specialist offers, and looking at it made me realise there might be a real difference in how they approach things. Has anyone switched from a general garage to a specialist and found it genuinely worth the extra cost? Or is it mostly the same work with a different sign above the door? I'd rather hear from people who've actually made the switch than guess at it.
