I recently started comparing
book publishers
and realized that choosing one involves more than reviewing services or comparing prices. The difficult part seems to be understanding what happens after publication who controls the rights, how royalties are reported, how revisions are handled, and whether communication continues when problems arise. A publisher may look suitable initially, but what should authors seriously investigate to judge the relationship long-term?
